The sun is good for us

The soothing effect of sunbathing stems not only from the warmth and relaxation experienced but also from the energising effect of bright light; everyone knows the good mood that only a sunny summer's day can bring. In addition, small doses of UVB promote metabolic processes and stimulate the formation of Vitamin D3.

The sun thus gives rise to a wealth of positive effects:

  • an improvement in blood flow properties
  • an improvement in oxygen supply to the body’s tissue
